Current Transport, Public Transport, Access and Parking
The Ocean Village Quarter (OVQ) is served by a clear framework of arterial and local roads providing connectivity and access.
The area is bounded to the north by the A3025 which together with the A33 presents major arterial roads connecting Southampton City Centre to the national road network with connections to the M27 and M3. The main connection within OVQ is Canute Road which provides a thoroughfare from Platform Road through to Northam and the primary means of access to the Ocean Village estate and surrounding streets.
Access within Ocean Village is via private roads with Neptune Way/Ocean Way providing accessibility to the west of the estate, and Channel Way the primary entry point to eastern residential areas.
